a trip to kildare !

on tuesday the tys set off with some of the religion teachers on a pilgrimage to kildare town. it was st. bridgets day a few days ago so we wanted to find out about her and to visit her places of prayer. it was great day! . at 5 past 9 we got onto the bus and drove to kildare town . first we watched a short dvd about bridget and her life. afterwards mr. kerigan showed us a big statue of st brigits torch fire ting ! .. we den walked to a cathedral and saw the lovely decorated windows of the saints eg. st luke :) ... and we were also showed a kitchen that briget used to cook in . it was very small ! ... we then went to kildare village and looked in all the expensive shops and got tea in starbucks .. we then walked to both of st brigits wells and some people filled dare bottles up with holy water to bring home. the wells were beutifully decorated <3 ! ... then it was time to go home so we all got back on the bus and went back to the scuwell nd went home !
